Hi. My name is Kelly Baldwin, and I am the founder and owner of Kelly Baldwin Design. All of my pieces are composed and created by me, in my home studio. I aspire to make colorful, glowing, silver pieces of jewelry with modern form and natural elements. My designs are made for exploring, celebrating, and enjoying the beauty of everyday life. It is my wish that your jewelry feels good on, is durable and easy to keep clean, and of course fun to wear.

My Materials, and Me

Reclaimed silver is used for every piece. All of the stones that you see in my work are genuine, high quality stones, hand picked from trusted lapidary artists from all over the world, some of whom have even become good friends over the years. All cast charm pieces in my line are my exclusive designs, made using the lost wax casting technique. Everything else is one of a kind, hand cut and formed.

I live in a tiny SW Colorado town by the river with my little family, and get energized by the beauty all around me everyday. I find joy in simple things, creative things, good design, rivers and lakes, high desert hikes, time exploring the four corners with my family (doing anything with them, really!), museums, hammocks, extra froth on my cappuccino, and my fuzzy red mutt, Bear. 

The craft and art of body ornamentation fascinates me, how it relates to culture and history, and the talisman qualities it can have. Often, you can find me studying patterns and forms of old puebloan pottery and jewelry at museums here in the four corners.
